My opponent has been one of the deciding votes against school choice. Further, he introduced a bill in 2013 to eliminate parent-controlled homeschooling ("Option 3"). I will vigorously defend teachers and students in every education context, oppose every attempt to put Federal controls on education, and empower parents to make the decisions that are right for their children.
